The Gig Harbor Tides Scholarship Foundation offers you the opportunity to assist local graduating seniors in continuing their education at colleges, universities and technical schools. The scholarships awarded by the Foundation become even more important given the current economic challenges facing our community and the increased number of seniors at Gig Harbor High School. As families struggle and the cost of higher education continues to climb, scholarships and community support are vital in the decisions faced by our graduates during this transition.
Please consider selecting one of these tax-deductible donation options:
· Named Scholarship ($250 or more) allows you to establish a scholarship in your name or any name you specify. If desired you may select your student recipient by reviewing the scholarship notebooks prepared by participating students in our program at a Donor Open House.
· Present Scholarship ($500 or more) allows you to both name and present your scholarship at the Awards Assembly held at the end of the school year.
· Endowment Fund in which the interest alone is used for scholarship awards.
· Donations of any amount to the General Fund awarded on your behalf.

Please complete and return the donor contribution form NO LATER THAN February 15th. Your donation needs to be received NO LATER THAN March 1st. Your participation in the Gig Harbor Tides Scholarship Foundation will send a strong and positive message to the students at Gig Harbor High School, as well as the community. If you would like your tax-deductible donation credited in 2008, please return the enclosed contribution form, along with your donation by December 31st.. A Donor Open House will be held in the Gig Harbor High School Library in the spring for donors to view student notebooks.

Also, all contributors will be recognized at the GHTSF Awards Assembly on May 25, 2010 at 6:30pm at Gig Harbor High School.
